Download the Census form and additional data requirements workbook

The Census form and workbook are now available for download. The Census form, due to its complex nature, is designed to work in Adobe Reader. Other generic versions of PDF readers will not work with this form or may not perform as expected.

This workbook has macros embedded within. To use this workbook, you will need to select Enable content at the top of the open workbook. If you are experiencing problems completing the workbook, contact the NSSAB Secretariat.

If you are unable to use the macro-enabled workbook above due to software or hardware compatibility issues, please download and complete the macro-free version of the workbook.

The Census form and workbook must be completed using data as at Friday, 28 February 2020 and must be returned to the NSSAB Secretariat no later than Friday, 6 March 2020.

Please note:

To download a copy of the Census form:

  1. Right-click on the link to the Census form: Census form [PDF 1.51MB]
  2. Select ‘Save Target As…’ or 'Save Link As...'
  3. Save it to a location on your local drive
  4. Rename the file: Start the file name with your site centre code followed by the name of the school and the suburb, for example, 1234 Greenfield College - Brisbane.pdf.

To download a copy of the Workbook:

  1. Right-click on the link to the workbook: Additional data requirements workbook [Excel 61Kb]
  2. Select ‘Save Target As…’ or 'Save Link As...'
  3. Save it to a location on your local drive
  4. Rename the file: Start the file name with your site centre code followed by the name of the school and the suburb, for example, 1234 Greenfield College - Brisbane.xlms
  5. If you are unable to use the macro-enabled workbook above due to software or hardware compatibility issues, please download and complete the macro-free version of the workbook [Excel 56Kb].

Census feedback

The Board is interested in your feedback in relation to the administration and collection of the Census data. The feedback submitted will be used to improve and refine the process of how the Census works from the user's perspective. Following submission of the Census form, please take a few minutes to complete the Census Feedback web survey. The link to the survey will appear after the completed Census form is submitted through NSSAB Online Services.
