Governing bodies should notify the Non-State Schools Accreditation Board (NSSAB) if any of the following attributes of accreditation no longer apply to the school:
- site locations
- education delivery mode (classroom or distance education)
- schooling years offered
- student type (male, female or coeducational)
- boarding, including school years and student types offered
- special assistance.
Submit a notification of attributes of accreditation no longer applying through
NSSAB online services or by emailing
nssab.admin@qed.qld.gov.au. Request access to NSSAB online services if you would like a log-in account. If you cannot lodge the form electronically, mail a printout to us. Find our postal address.
If a school stops offering an accredited year level, it is a change of circumstances, and the governing body
must notify NSSAB within 7 days of this change occurring (section 169 of the Act). Read more about changes of circumstances.
If a school stops offering a type of education (primary, secondary or special), the governing body must surrender the school's accreditation for that type of education. Read more about surrendering accreditation.
