Change of accreditation attribute
Accreditation attributes include:
- governing body of the school
- location of the school
- curriculum model
- mode of delivery of education (classroom and/or distance education)
- years of schooling and student type (co-educational, male or female)
- boarding facilities
- student-intake day
- addition of school site
- special assistance
Non-State schools seeking to change any of their accreditation attributes are required to make an application to the Board.
For example, a secondary school currently offering years 7-10 would also like to offer years 11-12. The school is already accredited to offer secondary education but the school must apply for a change of attribute.
An application to modify eligibility for government funding may also be required.
